Back Flex™ Back Brace
The Back Flex provides immediate pain relief to a variety of causes of low back pain. Our design uses Vectored Compression Technology to provide targeted compression right on the source of pain—the spine and the muscles and ligaments that support it. The Back Flex also includes two hot/cold gel pads that can be heated in microwave to provide soothing heat, or cooled in the freezer to provide pain-relieving cold.

1. Position Hand Pulls Before putting on the BackJack, ensure that both hand pulls are retracted all the way to the blue side panels. This will allow you to apply better compression when you engage the cinching mechanism.
2. Wrap the BackJack Around Your Waist With your right hand, hold the end with the black Velcro® hook. With your left hand, lay the left panel against your stomach, then press the right panel on top of the left. Brace should be snug, not tight.
3. Apply Compression Grasp each of the hand pulls and pull forward firmly while tightening your abdominal muscles. Attach the hand pulls to the surface of the brace.
Instructions for Hot/Cold Gel Pads If your BackJack came with hot/cold gel pads, follow the instructions carefully to maximize the life of your gel pads. Failure to follow these instructions may result in cracking or rupturing of the gel pad. Once heated or cooled, the gel pad slides directly into the lumbar pad.
DO NOT WEAR DIRECTLY AGAINST THE SKIN.
TO HEAT: Lay gel pad flat on a paper towel and microwave on high for 30 seconds. Check the temperature and add time in 10 second increments until gel pad reaches the desired temperature. When worn, heat will last 20-30 minutes. TO COOL: Lay gel pad flat in the freezer for at least one hour. When worn, cold will last 15-20 minutes.
